Paintball Teams

Professional paintball teams usually attract teens that have discovered that their love for the sport and their ability to win at it transcends their friends’ casual treatment of paintball as a hobby. Pro paintball teams have impressed sponsors to such an extent with the players’ individual abilities as well as the team’s skill that these sponsors have taken to bankrolling the teams’ gear.

Yet no paintball team crystallized out of thin air. Instead, it took three to five friends who enjoyed playing paintball. Teams were joined and abandoned in favor of others, until finally the small circle of friends decided on starting a paintball team of their own, and soon ten or more of their closest paintball buddies could be found on the new paintball teams. Most commonly those who finally make up the team roster on a permanent basis are all tried and true players who own their equipment, are familiar with it to a great extent, and also know that to make a paintball team turn pro, it takes more than talk, and some spiffy ideas for paintball team names.

Once the pack leader is chosen, a paintball team sponsor needs to be wooed, and while this process may take a bit of time, playing well in local tournaments and getting the word out that you are serious about getting to the top of the paintball team positions will help you. Professional paintball teams in their infancy will most likely start with a small sponsor who might lend a smaller item for a new scenario paintball team to see how things go. Cleverly displaying the sponsor’s logo as well as being one of the winning paintball teams will have the sponsor rev up his support.

A gimmick will help as well. For example, starting all-girls paintball teams will most likely attract sponsors quicker than the usual all-male teams. Similarly, posting, hosting and doing well at paintball team practices, getting out the paintball team name - forums are notoriously good arenas to not only litter the ‘Net with your name but also display your sportsmanship and knowledge of rules and equipment – as often as possible, and interacting well with other paintball teams trying to turn pro as well are key aspects of making it in the big leagues.

Eventually, you may become known as the Femme Fatales paintball team, become respected as the Chicago Aftershock, the Stockholm Joy Division, or the Hooligan Tactical Squad, or find any other name that will suit you and your team mates. Boys and girls’ paintball team names sometimes cross the line into the slightly absurd, but if you take a look at the team performance you will notice that a team that calls itself the Gods of War will not have too many people snickering when their performance bears out the name.
