It does not matter if you call them paintball babes, paintball chicks, bunker goddesses, or Spyder femmes; this sport is not just for sweaty guys anymore. Sure, in the so called good old days it was the group of guy friends that would gather in the evenings or on the weekends and play little war games with paint and pneumatic pistols, but before you could say “Planet Eclipse Ego” a whole new group of paintballers entered the realm: the chicks of paintball.

No, they are not the fodder for centerfolds entitled “hot paintball chicks,” “the sexy paintball chick next door,” or “when paintball babes go bad.” Instead, they are teams of serious players that carry the names “Team Vixen” or “The Femme Fatales.” A picture of paintball babes is worth a thousand words, and seeing the ladies in their full regalia, it is not surprising that quite of few guys are shaking in their boots. They may have pigtails, they may wear glossy lipstick, and they may have French manicures, but when they get out on the range, they are all business and the odds are good that the average paintball chick can give the average paintball guy a whooping the latter will not so quickly forget.

Just like their male counterparts, paintball babes come from all walks of life; you probably know a teacher who is a paintball babe, a housewife and mother, perhaps some of your church choir members are paintball babes! No matter where you look, paintball babes enjoy the distinction of having found a hobby they are not only good at but that is thoroughly enjoyable to them in every way. If the guys are not yet ready for them – well, too bad!

As a matter of fact, you will find that some use this sport as a way to reach out to at risk girls who need not only a way to focus their energies, let go of pent up frustrations, but also find the ability to step onto an equal footing with the guys. Competition is a bonus of this sport and it goes a long way to ensuring that the ready for action spirit is nurtured and challenged at every turn. Camaraderie abounds in these teams that are dominated by determined women of all ages and shopping discussions usually center on the latest markers rather than shoes, while true adrenaline junkies find a safe outlet for their addiction to the thrills of life.
